There’s always one
Last Linux Kickstarter I bought was 4 years ago and I never got it. Not getting scammed again
Alright, so you’re not in the market for Linux products. That’s fine. Do you happen to be looking to buy a bridge? Who’s your bridge guy?
I have absolutely no use for something like that. But I’ll probably end up buying one anyway, provided the final price is still reasonable.
Could just get a Pinephone with keyboard. Plus you get a cellular modem.
Gigabit ethernet port sounds like an easy vector for a adding a cellular modem for an inexpensive phone
Reminded me slightly of another project about to seek funding, the Raspberry Pi 5 powered Pilet.
https://soulscircuit.com/piletreminds me of the M5 Stack, but with a much more portability friendly profile
Looks pretty neat for tinkering
Great, a whole new form factor and OS to spend
hoursmonths getting to work with my emacs config. This is cool. I will be buying one.
Depends on how well it’s executed. It would be all too easy for a device like this to end up fatally flawed to the point where it’s not actually useful. (I’ve seen some real stinkers that looked great in the crowdfunding campaign.)
Thats actually pretty cool, they say they are going to make the the files to build your own extensions open source so i wonder if more complex controllers can be attached, stuff like twin sticks and such for better emulation compatibility, i dont know tho how the specs are for emulation
I wonder how well I’d get by with one of these if it connected to my cellular provider’s network?
Seems to be a decent amount of hardware for the price.
I’m guessing it will ship 8 years from now and suck
