I should seed my copy of Freaked 🤔. It’s the best quality version I have ever found, the movie isn’t available on any streaming service, and I doubt there’s a helluva lot of people who have this version (it took me forever to find it when I got it myself; so many are only like 240p and both look and sound like complete ass).
I’ve never heard of Seychelles in my life before, now I’ve seen it referenced twice in the past hour.
Supposedly it’s more interesting than Maldives, but Maldives are a better place to relax. I haven’t been to either archipelago, but for a while, I’ve wanted to. Without any computers or kids. Just escape for a week in beautiful weather, let other people worry about everything.
That’s pretty much the context of the other reference to it. I watched a Walk With Me Tim video where he stayed in a beach villa in Doha and recommended this as a superior alternative.
A vacation without kids or responsibilities sounds nice, but TBH the last time I was without my kid for a prolonged period - when I was moving into my house and the mother and kid were still at the old house - I just really missed them. I remember they had left a little model triceratops on the back of the toilet, which is not something I ever thought would make me emotional, but it sure did whenever I saw it.

The crazy thing to me is that people devoted thousands of hours to film some of these beautiful, low budget documentaries and films and just… After so much commitment, not even the company you sold the copyright to cares anymore. If not for these beautiful seeders, I wouldn’t have ever seen their work.

As it turns out, there was a different torrent with 100+ seeders for the same movie in another tracker, it downloaded in 5 mins, instead of the estimated 1:30 hours from seychelles…
You’re not gonna enjoy the movie as much if you take the easy torrent.
