I see a lot of people blaming tiktok and “brain rot” content for the increasing ADHD diagnoses, but I think its a matter of better detection, similar to how OCD and autism diagnosis have increased too.

Also as someone with ADHD, it feels like shit that it could be “my fault” or that I have brainrot.

      You said that the effect of drugs doesn’t last after stopping them. I don’t know what that has to do with anything and I’m asking you to elaborate.

        Non drug treatment is more successful than drug treatment, therefore cannot be simple inborn chemical imbalance

          Again, I don’t agree that it is and I don’t know how the notion that the drugs’ effect isn’t permanent is relevant. But okay, what is ADHD instead of a chemical imbalance?
