It not this post in particular but after binge watching a bunch of far-right debate tactic videos and coming to lemmy i connected the dots that tankies use the same tactics as far-righters. Im not saying that leftists (or whatever the correct term right now for me is) dont use it just that after alt right its tankies that use them most.

I find it kinda funny that you’re being so vague about what exactly it is that bothers you about ‘tankies’ as opposed to other leftists because I’m pretty sure a lot of the people you’re arguing with aren’t Marxist-Leninists or anything. If you think watching youtube and “connecting the dots” of forum comments is educating yourself you are even more ignorant than I had assumed. That is honestly pathetic. Learn history from reputable historians. Become familiar with even basic Marxist economics. Things that are actually meaningful and enlightening unlike poorly thought out youtube videos that primarily exist to hunt for low effort clicks. Even when trying to explain how you’ve educated yourself you leave out the most important part which is actually learning anything about the subjects that you now want to talk about. You’re just cruising on pure vibes.
