People should be allowed to grow from their mistakes. The issue here is that she had to be intentionally ignorant to miss the fact that Trump wanted to cut funding. Like at a certain point, the ignorance becomes maliciously intentional.

If she’s really willing to give up that willful ignorance, then that’s great! But in many recent cases, the “regret” is performative so they can get screenshots of comments just like yours. Then they take them and go crying back to the republican echo chambers about “waaaaah the libruls were mean to me so I’m gonna keep being republican instead. So much for the tolerant left.”

I don’t hope anyone suffers. I wish people could reflect on themselves and be better people.

I hope that those who are part of the ruling class suffer. They traded their humanity for money and power.

The ignorant morons who voted for Trump need more education and less religion. But I don’t think they deserve to suffer.

Eh. I disagree. Part of being an adult is educating yourself and correcting your mistakes. It’s easier now than ever because the majority of humanity has direct access to all human knowledge. No one really has to be ignorant anymore. People like this have chosen to be so. So they can and will suffer and I hope they do.
