This. At work i use visual studio ( .net wpf/blazor/maui ) with vscode on the side. At home i use vscodium for my .net/c/c++ work and sometimes notepad++ for other c stuff. Depends if i open 1 file quickly or working on a project
The real deal y0

I think the framework desktop would be an absolute powerhouse as a workstation desktop.
Think developers ( that still use desktops ), people who do raw computational power for science, servers, ai development, …
Fans, case, ports, side panel, …
Whatever you do with a pc, you can do with this.
Just not separately replace ram and cpu because of the cpu design of amd.
Hell, it can be connected to another one to make on hell of a compute monster too.
No, the pc is upgradable. They explicitly said in the event that the desktop was suppose to be an actual desktop with replaceable parts as much as technically possible. Only ram is tied to the mobo/cpu because of technical limitations of the amd cpu
Hehehehehe.
I once printed this one at an old job and put the actual days there for 2 million years ( give or take, 365*2mil ) and put it on the board that had employee information on it ( reports of the committee, event news, job listings etc ) and by the next day a lot of people wrote on it that they were very confused and didnt get it.
… I laughed my arse off with the thought of all the confused faces haha.
This was in an elderly home btw haha
Im going to get downvoted to hell for this.
Nazi’s are human. They are pieces of shit humans that need to not exist and i could punch without feeling bad, but they are humans none the less.
I think i see the change. They are mentioning the ssn is 9 numbers long, which is 1 longer than the 3-3-2 format wikipedia mentions. That does mean its around 999mil numbers, which ye allows for a few generations ( like, 1 or 2 lol )
Apparently. Good that its fixed!
Oh ye, our system wouldnt fit india as its limited to 500 births a day ( sequence is 3, digits and depending if its even or uneven describes your gender ). Your system seems fine to me and beats the us system hands down haha
Correct driver? It didnt before? My ps5 controller works just fine?
As read on wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Security_number ) the format only allows +/- 100k numbers per area code ( which is also limited to 999 codes? ), so over time you are forced to reuse some codes. In total the format allows 99m unique codes, and the us currently has 334mil people sooooo :')
Ssn being unique isnt a dumb idea, its a very smart idea, but due to the us ssn format its impossible to do. Hence to implement the idea you need to change the ssn format so it is unique before then.
Also, elons remark is stupid as is. Im sure the row has a unique id, even if its just a rowid column.
Just read the format of the us ssn in that wikipedia. That wasnt a smart format to use lol. Only supports 99*999 ( +/- 100k ) people per area code. No wonder numbers are reused.
In some countries its birthday+sequence number encoded with gender+checksum and that has been working since the 80’s.
Before that was a different number, but it wasnt future proof like the us ssn so we migrated away in the 80’s :')
3,5,7, 12 and 13 for me haha
How dare you assume we are all software devs or sys admins!!
… I am a software dev though hahaha ;p
Jokes aside, i agree. We are all humans and diversity is important so we dont alienate ourselves to the outside world and create echo chambers.
Just for your information : belgium is allowing the balcony solar panels this year, but they have put limits on which you can install. The power supplier needs to have approved the kit you install. This is just to prevent people from getting cheap crap from the internet.
Other than that, same rules!
Oh crap ye, i totally forgot about pressure being a parameter haha
She should have worded and explained her reasoning there.
Depending on the context, and parameters, she wasnt wrong. because as water boils, and turns into gas, it rapidly cools down again as it looses its heat energy to the (relatively) cold air until a certain point in which it cools to a certain point and turns into rain ( or sticks to the surface it hit that cooled it down ).
That means that the gas above the boiling water is colder than the boiling water itself.
… Its just only a few degrees off and can still burn you very god damn badly.
Oh damn, thanks for the reply! That was an interesting read and very good to know, thanks for sharing!
Didnt know it had that much effect on the human body!
Also happy to hear you got better!
