AI slop?
Edit: actually after a closer look, I retract that question mark. This is slop.

Now I’m picturing Captain Planet stepping around a corner and having his flesh melt off and his bones dissolve.
Well, for starters the billboard is only about 15’ tall and goes over the road. That’s not normal. Everything has a odd inconsistent blurry look to it and all of the smaller text is distorted and illegible.
Finally, the details on… well everything are wrong. Why does the white truck in the foreground have one giant door with a handle in the middle and a second handle on the truckbed? What is the traffic flow in this image? How many lanes does the road have? Why are all the lamps on the top of the billboard pointed so weirdly? What sort of neighborhood is this in?
I’m kinda reminded of the tale of how the Zilog Z80 processor chip had dozens of little “tricks” built into it. It was being produced in Japan which at the time was famous for their chip production and for copying chip designs. Apparently their little tricks were baffling enough that it delayed the appearance of knock-offs chips by half a year.
I mean the message is good, but the medium is, well slop.
AI slop.
I dunno, never discount a company hiring a slash-and-burn failson to give the stock a temporary boost so the upper management can take the money and run. Are you really sure Bluesky won’t hire some techbro CEO to pump the stock somewhere in the near future?
Well… Bluesky was founded by the same sort of techbro culture that spawned Xitter, but hit hasn’t gone full incel fash fanboy like Xitter. So maybe it’s more “Out of the fire, into the frying pan, then back into the fire” because I’m pretty sure Bluesky will follow Twitters trajectory.
Just use a Markov chain.
I know, I know, he picked up some garbage from a tree one time, so obviously the multi-million dollar drug kingpin is a great guy. I mean… this happens all the time, Trump has only been convicted of one rape out of the 26 accusations, so obviously he’s a great guy too!
Maybe now justice can finally be served and he can find a real hitman to kill his colleagues and rivals!
Don’t forget the… six(?) attempted homicides.
When freaking lawyers are saying “I don’t know if I can ethically support this company” you know you’ve got a problem.
Looks like backing up the post was a good call.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced to the world that Meta will “get back to our roots around free expression,”
A bunch of creepy nerds e-stalking college girls and ranking how hot they are without their knowledge or consent? Or is that iteration considered a separate product now?
Considering it was a desert region in the bronze age, I’d guess… fragrant.
I asked Grok
There’s like a 95% chance this is all made up bullshit then.
LLM’s aren’t designed to tell the truth, they’re chatbots designed to make believable sounding responses.
Oh my god… I was going to make a “Sonic beating himself” joke but this is way better then anything I had in mind.
It’s an old idea, you’d basically have a sleepover of uninfected individuals with a few infected individuals. The idea was you’d give everyone the disease at the same time, meaning the next time the disease came through you’d have unified immunity, rather than a mix some individuals being immune and some still being susceptible having avoided infection the last time. It’s better than nothing for disease control, but only just barely.
Of course, it became unnecessary with vaccines for the various diseases “treated” that way. Since with a vaccine you can gain immunity without actually having to catch the disease in question.
