Why would anybody chose to live confined underwater?

Why would anyone choose to live confined in space? Idk, but the ISS still exists.

It provides easy access to search. I understand now though why you wouldn’t want it to open automatically (if you have startup programs you want to see instead).

Why wouldn’t you want the overview at startup?
