I have been waiting for something like this from framework for ages now, super pumped to order one.
Specs are a bit disappointing, so here’s hoping it gets a bit beefier cpu option in the future

It has always confused me why they dont use an existing standard like an XT90 as the connector. Two chunky 12v leads that can carry the power needed.
Is X1Plus available for the P1S? If it is, that’s what you should switch to in LAN only mode. Can slice with anything and feed it over to the printer.
It’s what I did with mine, even though it was in LAN only mode already. Switch over before they disable that option. Already working on selling it though so I can get a Prusa CORE.
Their 65" signage TV with CM4 slot retails at 1300$, while its not a fancy micro led with direct lighting, it’s never going to spy on you. To me thats a worthy tradeoff. If I needed a TV in my life, thats what I’d be getting.
There are/were signage TV’s that had that at one point. Was really hoping it would take off because that’s my dream TV setup too
I think NEC might still offer some on the CM4? unsure if they can still be purchased as of now, as that war in '22
Edit: appears they’re still sold! https://www.sharpnecdisplays.us/system-on-a-chip
I dont need much in a laptop, it would be replacing my Lenovo x220t thats really starting to show its age now. So even a 13th gen is a vast improvement, I was just hoping for a more efficient chip for battery life, or a higher performing one so it’ll last as long as possible, since I try to keep hardware for as long as possible
