Actually the apple picker probably lives on the farm and is too far from civilization, without any transport, to do anything about it. The conditions are truly horrid in far too many cases.
I hate musk with all my being but this post isn’t actually saying anything. C’mon, folks, being on the right side of history is good no matter how you slice it but let’s maybe use our brains so we don’t start chasing this nonsense.
(And look it’s probably somewhat true but fucking Grok isn’t coming from a place of knowledge)
What the fuck is this racist garbage? OP are you ok/are you fucking serious?
Wow, I knew she wouldn’t be the brains of any operation but I didn’t think I’d be siding with the cheating douchefuck so completely. Like, she’s really got those premium blinders on to think all that, damn. Unless he had said he’d leave it all but at that point I don’t believe either of them enough to make any judgement or assumption.
I’d say show them all of his failures but would they even listen?
Well, that and anyone who pays even a little bit of attention knows that he’s really fucking bad being a CEO, too. Money and ownership makes it really easy to cover up being an utter failure because you can pay smarter people to do your work for you and they can’t even talk back because you’ll fire them in a temper tantrum.
“Cutting waste”, for a conservative, is to reduce public services. They have spent a very long time putting out the idea that the government must turn a direct profit and pretty much none of them have the barest clue of what an indirect effect is. The more they crush public infrastructure the more space there is for private interests to come in and overcharge for services they don’t even really provide(health insurance, for example).
Nothing they do to streamline, especially with Elon must holding the lever, will be a benefit to the working class and the benefit to the owner class will be a few quarters of profits while they continue to descend into a place where there’s no money left for their customers to buy their products.
There is no good coming.
I want to agree with the last bit but if it’s coming from thinking that the CCP is communist because it’s in the name then I wonder what your opinion on the DPRK is.
Oh don’t forget that many innovations don’t come to the surface until companies have gotten their money out of the old ones. We miss out on a lot of technology for years because of that. And then there’s tooling changes leading to companies saying “what the fuck are you gunna do about it?” as they all keep making the same old crap. Sony had to invent the litium-ion battery for their cameras because all the battery companies were fine with making the old lead-acid stuff.
Capitalism doesn’t drive innovation, it gives into it when it absolutely has to but would prefer to not have to do anything new. New is expensive, and so the very idea of innovation is counter to capitalism’s goals.
