Are you talking about the Democrats? They weren’t going to do anything. They rely on wealthy donors. The same wealthy donors that like what Trump is doing.

It is and always has been class warfare.

We were going to eventually get a president that’s doing what Trump is doing assuming we failed to organize. I just wanted more time to organize in the hopes that we could avoid all the pain and suffering that a president like Trump will cause.

I might tone this down just a little bit. If you claim to be a leftist or you were politically aware and you didn’t vote or voted for Trump, then you are a genocide supporter. There I totally agree.

I think the majority of people are too politically uneducated or filled with propaganda to label his genocide supporters. Even if they did vote for Trump.

We can acknowledge both that, the original Creator had bad intentions for the US and the message rings very true today.

Originally this message was designed to weaken the US. Today this message will strengthen the US. Time has changed the material conditions of the world.

But that’s the problem. The voters are all morons. The Democrats knew this. And Republicans were giving a master class on how to make that work. But the Democrats didn’t do anything. They treat politics like a friendly game of Monopoly. They assume the rules are magically enforced. So when the Republicans started to cheat, the Dems kept playing by the rules. And now we have a fascist government.

Also, I don’t think the Democrats are suffering. They’re all rich. They can live just fine in a fascist US, they have enough money. We are the ones that are going to be loaded onto the trains.

Ok, so there are two kinds of idiots.

1. The idiot who actually doesn’t know any better. They are just following the misinformation wherever it goes because their friend on face book said it and they trust them or something like that. Unironically the bacteria is crunchy and good for you and the bad things aren’t real.
2. The person you are talking about. The person who knows it is bad and knows what they are doing.

There are only a few 2s, most are 1s. Like 1 “2” for every 100000 “1”.

2s, as you have stated, don’t care. They know. They know their arguments are dumb and a misdirection. They will not engage with this meme, because they know what they are doing and they know it is wrong and they know that engaging with this will just out them and expose their bad takes.

Even if you get rid of all the 2s, 1s will self perpetuate. So you really should target the 1s.

The 1s are not aware of all of this 6d chess going on. So if you show them this meme, they are going to be confused because they have no problem with refrigeration and they are going to be mad because you are implying that they are dumb and you are not addressing their concerns. So they ignore us and don’t learn anything and we look like idiots. This is what the 2s want.

The thing is, pasteurization is an easy win for us. No need to overcomplicate it. Just tell the 1s and 2s the truth. Otherwise we end up looking like we don’t have an argument by making up positions they don’t have. If the 2s pipe up, we have the data and “It’s your life, if you want to risk getting deadly diseases tuberculosis, brucellosis, and E. coli, that is your choice”. If they go farther you can just say they are in a death cult, it’s easily winnable even if you are an ok debater.

Honestly the 1s are looking at this meme and must think it is some other group that is being targeted because they have no problems with refrigeration so this post is like 99% of people who agree with each other patting each other on the back. Fun, but not productive.

How isn’t it? The company I’m working for is touting it as them being so progressive. Meanwhile, they’re only making changes that make them more money. None of the changes they’re making is adding any risk.

I mostly like DEI. But I’m concerned that it is running cover for corporations. DEI is not about expanding opportunities to people evenly. DEI is about expanding opportunities to people that make the company more money. DEI alone is not enough for a fair and equitable society.

I mostly agree with your post. I take exception to the barely works part. Either the code works or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t work, fix it. If it works, don’t fix it.

If you “fix” working code, you are spending time adding no value to the project. You could even argue you’re adding negative value because the people who are used to the code working the way it was now have a surprise.
