They should change it again and call themselves Stage Four

This is what happens when governments rely on a private corporate service for public announcements

Every government should just adopt a fediverse instance of some sort, maintain it and push that to everyone to use as a public announcement service. That way it would not be controlled, manipulated, lost or disconnected if they had full control over it all the time.

Does it have anything to do with the North? … or the Atlantic? … or a Treaty? … or a mutual Organization?

It’s like the joke Voltaire made about the Holy Roman Empire in the 1700s and stating that it was neither Holy, nor Roman, nor an Empire.

Music … learn music … learn the piano … or learn the guitar … or whatever instrument you might have used before. Music really occupies your mind because it needs a lot of mental training. You have to coordinate your body to do things, your brain has to train to follow patterns, your listening has to coordinate with what you are doing and what you produce … it’s a full brain experience and once you get accustomed to it, time seems to change … you play for an hour and it felt like you were there for five minutes but it also felt like hours passed by, it’s amazing. I’m not a great musician, I know my basics but it’s fun every time I do it.

To make it easier … leave the instrument in your living space and make it easy to pick up … park the piano in your living room where you see it every day … or a guitar on a stand next to your seat … etc

If you are not musical or want to learn music … then try visual art … drawing, painting

Just a simple pencil and paper to start with … doodling and learning forms and human anatomy … I used to do that for years when I was a teen and learned a lot but life got in the way and I got too busy to keep it up. But I have a few friends who kept it going and now produce beautiful artwork.

And it’s all about training and time. If you play music or learn to draw in a month … it probably won’t sound great or look great … give yourself a year and you’ll be producing great things … give yourself a few years and you’ll be a musician or an artist recognized by others

Great idea … just get them to export all the women, then when they want children, ship their semen over, artificially inseminate the women, keep female children, send male children after a few years old to live in Afghanistan with their all male family. Just ban women completely from the country.

About three years ago I got a call from my credit card company asking me if I had booked a first class flight from New York to Milan for $2,000 and reserved a five star hotel in Italy for $1,000 a night, plus a few other hundred dollar charges of other things.

I have travelled overseas before but I’m a budget traveller and I wouldn’t spend money like that … plus my travelling days were basically over anyway … plus I don’t live, work or go near New York city, I’m in northern Ontario, Canada!

I cancelled the card immediately and started looking back on what I had done that led to this. The only thing I could point to was that about a month or two before, I had been playing around with a bunch of phone apps and a few Chinese face filter apps I had experimented with and had signed up to trial subscriptions without knowing it which gave my credit card information through Google Play. I’m very careful with my credit card and apply every security feature that is given but that one slip up gave me away. I now layer Google play purchases behind Pay Pal tagged to a limited Credit Card to just that account and with all security, two factor authentication I can apply on everything.

As security minded as all this can be, all security professionals agree that the weakest link to any secure system are the fallible humans (and I’m one of them) who operate this stuff.
