I propose we pass a law that officially makes "he needed killin’ " a legally admissible affirmative defense. If you can prove to the jury, beyond a reasonable doubt, that someone just needed killin’, you can’t be convicted of murder.
I’m sure this won’t have any horrific negative side effects whatsoever…
Unfortunately, “they deserved it” isn’t really part of the law.
