I find its better to focus on how that can be prevented from happening to others, and protect future bicyclists because people like me are too fearful to even try with how the roads currenly are…but to each their own.

Even better is to push for better infrastructure so no one is in danger?
I agree with you on the caring more about car users part, except that the shitty infrastructure caused that scenario. If there’s no where to safely emergency park a car except for the bike lane that’s on the town or city and where the anger should be directed.
I’m a timid person and won’t ride a bike in my town because of how narrow the shoulders are and there’s always gravel, sand and debris on it. It freaks me out too much, which sucks since I’d prefer to do that since it’s more affordable.
That is so fucking scary and I am very happy to hear your wife made it through and the hospital you were at was invested in saving her life… as it should be.
If only these ridiculously dangerous religious hospitals could understand that.
I feel like Conspiracy theories are at least partially the result of a lack of regulation and oversight for governing bodies and corporate entities.
For example… the atomic energy commission approved experimenting on disabled children by feeding radioactive oats to them.

It’s one of the reasons we have laws like informed consent now.
Everytime we run into something new, like radiation, some company or government branch does some seriously unethical shit with it and new laws and regulations are written.
So it’s like we’re all just waiting to find out what new fucked up thing has happened, and how many corporations are gonna fight any proposed regulations regarding it.
True story about catholic hospitals, Sometimes, when a woman comes in having a miscarriage, catholic hospitals will just push her to the parking to die so Jesus won’t judge them for performing an abortion.
Homicide via medical neglect is totally fine as long as it’s done so the hospital staff doesn’t go to hell.
I like what we could be doing with AI.
For example there’s one AI that I read about awhile back that was given data sets on all the known human diseases and the medications that are used to treat them.
Then it was given data sets of all the known chemical compounds(or something like that, can’t remember the exact wording)
Then it was used to find new potential treatments for diseases. Like new antibiotics. Basically it gives medical researchers leads to follow.
That’s fucking cool and beneficial to everyone. It’s a wonderful application of the tech. Do more of that please.
He’s mad because he’s a CEO and probably believes from the bottom of his heart that he shouldn’t have to pay that fee the way everyone else does.
To quote Immortal Technique “only little people pay all these taxes fees.”
