The first one is weird, madre in this context both does and doesn’t mean “mother”. It’s closer to to the mother in “motherfucker” than it is to “I fucked your mom”.
They both mean “I don’t give a shit” although with different flavors of vulgarity.
The second one is literally “this means dick to me”
3·1 day agoA decent compromise might be to pick a short phrase she can remember, and make all her passwords that phrase+the name of the service.
Like her bank password would be “iloveop+bank”, her Netflix would be iloveop+netflix", etc.
My mom’s password manager is a pen and paper notebook. It’s not ideal, but it keeps me from having to reset everything every month, and she chooses slightly more complex passwords since she doesn’t have to remember them (even though she is slowly memorizing them)
He did the first leg on coffee, passed out while his friend in SF loaded the moving van, and then his friend drove the truck back part of the way and he took over when he woke up. The tuck was only ever parked long enough to load it, get food, or pee.
Thankfully I was on a separate trip or I’d have been guy #2.

I had a friend slap a knife out of a dudes hand by accident at a gas station once. The way he tells is, he was in line to pay, guy in front of him pulled a knife on the cashier, friend made a “oh shit” noise, guy turns around, friend drops his shit and somehow simultaneously knocks the knife out of the guys hand while clumsily trying to raise his own hands in a “don’t stab me” guesture. Knife dude was running for the door before the knife hit the floor.
Friend got all the praise for saving the day, but he lets us know it was all a nat 20 luck roll and divine intervention from a trickster god.
I agree, but political power to what end? People usually use political power to get people elected. What’s the alternate use for political power? Lobbying is just buying off already elected people, and even a violent coup is using political power to install a different political system, so what’s the point of political power if you don’t use it for politics?
